Some houses keep the memory of those who lived in them, and this is one of them. Four minutes from the center of San Miguel, this eighteenth-century casona holds the legacy of the Vidargas Castillo family, antique dealers by tradition.
Only six rooms, arranged around its cantera stone courtyard, among brick arches, historic doors and handmade textiles. The experience offers absolute privacy and traditional breakfasts made to order. The perfect base from which to explore the city on foot, backed by Orchid House hospitality.

Standard Queen
Fits up to 2At the center of the house, the one furthest from the street: a queen bed, neutral tones and hand-made textiles. There are two of them, identical, 24 m² each.
Standard Double
Fits up to 4A spacious room with two queen beds on the ground floor, and direct natural light through its window. It is the only one that sleeps four: 32 m², with an extra-person charge from the third guest on.
Suite
Fits up to 2A wrought-iron four-poster king bed under timber beams, and a window with a built-in seat. 27 m².
Deluxe Suite
Fits up to 2A king bed with a wrought-iron headboard, an antique carved mirror on the ledge and a timber bench at the foot. 27 m².
Master Suite
Fits up to 2The largest in the house, with its original timber door still in place: a king bed with an upholstered headboard and a carved crest, and exposed stucco walls. 42 m².

Breakfast is made to order
Mexican breakfast made to order. The chilaquiles are the house favourite, to be had at the individual tables in the courtyard or together at the long dining table. At that hour, the kitchen takes over the house with a smell of its own.

Located on Hidalgo street, a four-minute walk from La Parroquia. Bajío airport (BJX) is 95 km away, 1h20 to 1h45 by car; Querétaro is an hour. The old town is cobbled and its streets are narrow. Ask about parking before you arrive.
